About Us

Computer Systems & Programming was established in 1991 to provide custom programming services to companies in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.

In 1993, the company expanded its offering to include modifiable accounting software from SBT (now Accpac).  This approach enabled users to benefit from the cost savings in purchasing packaged software as well as the flexibility to make changes to the business processes.  Since then, we have added other accounting solutions to our offerings – Accpac Advantage Series.  We have also broadened the scope of our product range to include non-accounting applications including Coss Manufacturing (job shop manufacturing), F9, NetPath EDI and Dynamite Service Management Software.

In addition to selling, training, supporting and modifying the packages we sell, we provide our clients with the abilities to integrate to external systems, assistance in streamlining business procedures, writing reports and making decisions on further technologies that might prove useful.  We also have well-established partnerships with companies that provide networking, communications and hardware expertise.

The staff at Computer Systems & Programming includes:

Mary Clark:  Mary is one of the founders of Computer Systems & Programming.  She began her computing career in 1979, in a mainframe environment.  Through the years, she has done programming, systems analysis and business analysis.  For most of the last 20 years, she has worked in accounting-related applications including specifying, writing, implementing and supporting them.  Her responsibilities now include analysis, program specification, technical support and supervision of programming resources.

Sandy Chafee:  Sandy was a controller at a business running SBT/ACCPAC software for 7 years before joining the company in 2000 as a consultant.  Her extensive knowledge of the ‘user’ side of operations and her accounting expertise have made her an invaluable resource in installing, training and implementing accounting solutions.
